Transforming the Global Fertilizer Industry and Making Agricultural Production More Sustainable

BioSam Inc. is an agrobiotechnology company founded in 2022 in Quebec, which is developing revolutionary solutions that will greatly improve the sustainability of agricultural production. Specifically, BioSam Inc. has discovered and is developing a class of microbes that are highly effective at mobilizing plant nutrients naturally present in the soil and making them available to crops. By using BioSam Inc. products, farmers will be able to reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers applied, saving money and reducing the environmental problems that have plagued the use of chemical fertilizers for decades. BioSam Inc.'s first products are expected to reach the market within three (3) to five (5) years. BioSam Inc. is composed of two (2) PhDs in microbiology who discovered the unique properties of microbes, and two (2) investors/experts with decades of commercial experience in the global agricultural inputs industry. She is currently participating in Concordia University's V1 Accelerator Program, with the help of District 3, which gives her access to laboratories, fermentation facilities and much more.
