What particularly sets Biocleen's technology apart is its alignment with the principles of the circular economy. In fact, thanks to its collaboration with the Groupe de recherche en environnement et biotechnologie (GREB) at Cégep de Rivière-du-Loup, the company uses agro-industrial residues as substrates for enzyme production. This approach not only valorizes waste, but also reduces production costs, making enzymes more accessible.
