INTEGRATING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE INTO THE BIOECONOMICS SECTORS

In the great industrial revolution of artificial intelligence (AI), Quebec is in a favourable position, and the strength of its ecosystem is no accident.

In Quebec, several innovation centers, in close collaboration with industry, research institutes and universities specialize in AI and can mobilize their expertise to benefit all sectors of the economy. These organizations provide researchers and businesses with expertise and access to state-of-the-art infrastructure that is expensive and inaccessible.

As part of CRIBIQ's Call for Artificial Intelligence Innovation Projects through the PARTENAR-IA | ENTREPRISE will support companies in collaboration with research centres in carrying out their artificial intelligence (AI) projects, with the following objectives:

• Improving business competitiveness through the adoption of AI;
• Encourage collaborations between companies (of all sizes, including startups), as well as with the research and innovation communities to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into the business community and, consequently, into society;
• Support structuring the projects aimed at the mass adoption of AI in one or more sectors of the economy;
• Support the projects with significant and immediate economic benefits;
• Ensure the development and consolidation of innovation efforts in the field of AI;
• Contribute to Quebec's position as a leader in AI development.
